.se

Starting with 2025, IISE Registry is no longer requiring documents for Ownerchange, instead they are requiring the ICANN Ownerchange process. The process has been enabled, and it is built at CentralNic Reseller in the same way as for any other gTLD, with the exception that Designated Agent Mode is not accepted. Details can be found here.

    The owner change process has adapted the FoA procedure, where an email will be sent to the current and future owner of the domain, who have to approve the owner change. If no agreement is given, the trade request expires after 10 days.

Authorization Codes

Starting June 1st, 2024, auth-codes can only be set by the registry. To request a new auth-code, please submit a ModifyDomain command with x-request-authcode = 1. Afterwards you can retrieve the new auth-code via a StatusDomain command.

New auth-codes have the format detailed below:

Domain Extensions

X-NICSE-IDNUMBERNIC-SE requires an ID number (e.g. Civic registration number, company registration number, id card / passport number or the equivalent).
For Swedish citizens please use the social security number (Personnummer).
X-NICSE-VATIDFor companies located in EU member states (but not in Sweden) the VAT id has to be specified.

Domain Restrictions

  • A valid ID number is required and must be provided in X-NICSE-IDNUMBER parameter.
  • ID numbers need to be provided in their respectively correct formatting. This may vary by type and origin.
  • For companies located in EU member states (but not in Sweden) the VAT id has to provided in X-NICSE-VATID parameter.
