X-JP-IDN-CONTACTOptional

The provision of this contact is only possible for .JP IDNs.

Domain Restrictions

  • A local address in Japan is provided automatically, if the owner contact does not contain a local Japanese address.
  • O-Handles are not allowed. First and last name required.
  • If you are using JP as country code in one of the contact handles (owner, admin, tech or billing contact), the field "state" becomes mandatory and has to contain the 2digit JISX040 (ISO 3166-2:JP) prefecture code.
  • In case a Japanese address is used, the correct japanese zip code format (XXX-XXXX) has to be used.
  • The city needs to match the zip-code. Including the prefecture name in the street address is optional.
  • A specific phone number format also has to be used in case of a Japanese address. The correct format is 4912345678 instead of 004912345678 or +4912345678 for example.
