Transfer notes
- A .edu.pl domain transfer must be initiated with a so-called authorisation code, which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner or Admin-C of the domain.
- Please ensure, that you have a correct authorisation code associated with the domain, before initiating the transfer, otherwise it will fail.
- Ensure that your respective domain does not have a lock status. This can be seen in the WHOIS. If the domain is locked, then the owner can demand that this be unlocked.
- Please note that you need a signed request from the registrant before you initiate the transfer.
- If the domain is active, transfer needs to be initiated minimum 6 days before the expiration date or 5 days after last transfer
- The period allowed for generating transfer forms dns.pl has been extended. The transfer form is now available for generation not later than 12 days before the end of the billing period of a domain name, contrary to the period of 17 days as it was before. Other conditions of transfers from NASK to a partner registrar remain unchanged and are available here. Specific information on required documents and the transfer form are available in the FAQ.
Transfers from NASK
- Fax NASK the respective transfer form "Transfer from NASK"
- After you have received an answer from NASK regarding these transfers, please send an email to [email protected] with the respective domains which are being requested for transfer. We will then provide you with the respective authorization codes.
- You can then initiate the transfer through the RRPProxy WebInterface or Socket Access.
- After the transfer has been requested, the domain owner will receive a confirmation email and be asked to approve the transfer.
Removal of the transfer request from NASK to a partner registrar
- The request for domain name transfer from NASK to the chosen registrar, which has been faulty filed, may be removed by means of the new form available here. The removal of the transfer request from the queue will affect all the domain names specified in the request for transfer from NASK. There is also the possibility to remove such a transfer request per fax (+48 22 380 83 01) and direct e-mail ([email protected]) to the registry. The fax or e-mail should include all the data necessary to identify the registrant.
-
More information on transfers from NASK can be found on their transfer description page.
Transfers from another Registrar
- No fax forms are required.
- Request the authorization code from the current registrar.
- You can then initiate the transfer through the RRPProxy WebInterface or Socket Access.
