You also have to provide a trademark certificate issued according to Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks acting in Ukraine (abbreviation "UA" must be in the field 831 DESIGNATIONS). The Certificate of Ukraine for the trademark or service mark issued by the central executive authority dealing with issues of legal protection of intellectual property.

Domain Renewal

RenewDomain is not available for .com.ua TLDs.

As .com.ua domains cannot be renewed explicitly. To renew a .com.ua domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTORENEW or RENEWONCE.

Domain Deletion

DeleteDomain is not available for .com.ua TLDs.

As .com.ua domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete a .com.ua domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTODELETE or AUTOEXPIRE.

After successful transfer, the domain will be automatically extended for 1 year.

Domain Restore

RestoreDomain is not available for .com.ua TLDs.

The RestoreDomain command is not available for .com.ua, but restores can be manually processed by our fulfillment team, please send a request by email to [email protected].

Domain Restrictions

.ua (2nd level) registrations
- WIPO or Ukraine Trademark with exact name as domain name is required for both companies and individuals. To register a .ua domain on second level, you have to have an identical trademark. For example: with the trademark "cooldrink" it is possible to register cooldrink.ua but not cooldrink-online.ua.
There are three documents which can be accepted by the .ua registry:
- WIPO trademark with designation to Ukraine - Ukrainian trademark - license agreement between trademark holder and licensee.
  - This agreement must be registered in Ukrainian trademark authority Institute of Industrial Property.

Additional Info 14.03.2014: IDNs are not supported for .net.ua domains.

Fulfillment Info

FTLD .com.ua is a Fulfillment TLD. Fullfilment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process. The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on respective registry regulations, and are therefore not automated for real-time registrations and real-time updates. Updates might cause additional costs!
