Domain Restrictions

Please find in the following a set of the most commonly used standard API commands in order to register, modify, renew, and transfer a domain name.

The official registry (EETT) examines the application within a period of 4 - 8 weeks from its submission by the registrar to the Registry and proceeds to either accept or reject the request.

A .com.gr domain transfer must be initiated with a so-called authorisation code. Auth-codes can be set via ModifyDomain command.
The owner contact is required and needs to include the current registrants data matching contact details with the registry. Otherwise, the transfer will fail.

The following IDN scripts are supported by .com.gr.
Provide the LANGUAGE TAG corresponding to your desired IDN within the AddDomain command as X-IDN-LANGUAGE extension.
