Domain Registration

After a successful registration of the domain, it will be transfer locked from the registry for a period of 60 days.

Transfer Procedure

• The transfer is submitted to the registry and the losing registrar is automatically notified by them.
• The losing registrar sends an email to the owner (and optionally admin) contact, informing about the transfer; this may include options to approve and/or deny the transfer. If neither explicitly approved nor denied, the transfer will be automatically finalized after 5 days.

Transfer Notes

• A .law domain transfer must be initiated with a so-called authorisation code, (auth-code) which can be obtained from the current registrar through the owner/admin contact of the domain.
• Ensure that your respective domain does not have a lock-status (clientTransferProhibited and/or serverTransferProhibited). This can be seen in WHOIS.
• If the domain has a client-side transfer lock, the owner can ask the current registrar to have the lock removed.

Domain Extensions

X-ALLOCATION-TOKEN	Provide a token that has to be issued by the registry for the registration of a premium domain name.

Domain Restrictions

• RNH acknowledges and agrees that Validation Agent may contact the Registrant directly for validation purposes.
• The verification agency will complete the verifications by using standard Whois information provided as part of the registration process, which shall be checked from time to time by the Registry(“Validation Agent”).
• RNH must provide additional data as necessary to facilitate validation (“Validation Data”). Validation Data must be provided as requested from time to time by the Registry.
• RNH certifies, prior to Registration that RNH is qualified to register the domain and that all provided information is true and accurate.
• RNH acknowledges and agrees that providing false information may lead to the deletion of their registration on all Registry TLDs including, but not limited to, .law and .abogado.

The following IDN scripts are supported by .law.
Provide the LANGUAGE TAG corresponding to your desired IDN within the AddDomain command as X-IDN-LANGUAGE extension.
