• For the change of registrant special documents are required
  • In case of a natural person
    • Letter in original requesting the Holder’s change, indicating the information to modify, signed by the domain name holder.
    • Copy of official personal identification document with photography of the domain name Holder
  • In case of a legal person
    • Letter in original requesting the Holder’s change, indicating the information to modify, signed by the legal representative of the domain name holder.
    • Copy of official personal identification document with photography of the legal representative of the domain name Holder
    • Certification of the registration of the trade name
• NIC DO will be able to request additional documentation if considering it to be necessary

Domain Renewal

.do domains have to be renewed 60 days prior to their expiration date.

Domain Deletion

Command

DeleteDomain

is not available for .do TLDs.

As .do domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete a .do domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTODELETE or AUTOEXPIRE.

• In order to transfer a .do domain name, an email will be sent to the domain holder to confirm the transfer of the domain. The transfer has to be confirmed within 10 days.

Domain Restore

is not available for .do TLDs.

Restores for .do are not possible.

Fulfillment Info

FTLD .do is a Fulfillment TLD. Fullfilment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process. The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on respective registry regulations, and are therefore not automated for real-time registrations and real-time updates. Updates might cause additional costs!
