Domain Deletion

DeleteDomain

is not available for .cr TLDs.

As .cr domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete a .cr domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTODELETE or AUTOEXPIRE.

After a .cr domain transfer has been initiated the current managing admin contact at NIC.CR needs to push the domain to [email protected] as the gaining admin, technical and billing entity for the domain name.

Restores for .cr are not possible.

Domain Extensions

Domain Extensions for Natural Persons

X-PERSONAL-ID	Passport or ID card number of the domain name holder (individual)

Domain Extensions for Organisations or Companies

X-COMPANY-REG-ID	Business / company registration number of the domain name holder company

Domain Restrictions

• The company registration number is required, if the owner is a legal entity.
• The number of the passport/ID of the owner is required, if the owner is an individual.

Fulfillment Info

FTLD .cr is a Fulfillment TLD. Fullfilment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process. The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on respective registry regulations, and are therefore not automated for real-time registrations and real-time updates. Updates might cause additional costs!
