Domain Deletion

DeleteDomain is not available for .cr TLDs.

As .cr domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete a .cr domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTODELETE or AUTOEXPIRE.

After a .cr domain transfer has been initiated the current managing admin contact at NIC.CR needs to push the domain to [email protected] as the gaining admin, technical and billing entity for the domain name.

Domain Restore

RestoreDomain is not available for .cr TLDs.

Restores for .cr are not possible.

Domain Extensions for natural persons

X-PERSONAL-ID

Passport or ID card number of the domain name holder (individual)

Domain Extensions for organisations or companies

X-COMPANY-REG-ID

Business / company registration number of the domain name holder company

Domain Restrictions

The company registration number is required, if the owner is a legal entity.
The number of the passport/ID of the owner is required, if the owner is an individual.

Fulfillment Info

FTLD .cr is a Fulfillment TLD. Fullfilment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process. The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on respective registry regulations, and are therefore not automated for real-time registrations and real-time updates. Updates might cause additional costs!
