Domain Renewal

RenewDomain is not available for .com.my TLDs.

.com.my domains cannot be renewed explicitly. To renew a .com.my domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTORENEW or RENEWONCE.

Domain Deletion

DeleteDomain is not available for .com.my TLDs.

As .com.my domains cannot be deleted explicitly. To delete a .com.my domain you have to set the domain renewal mode or default renewal mode to AUTODELETE or AUTOEXPIRE.

Domain Transfer

  • The domain holder has to confirm an email send from the registry (except for internal transfers).

Domain Restrictions

  • Registrant must be a company locally incorporated in Malaysia
  • Registrant must have a copy of a company registration in Malaysia as well as a physical presence with a valid address and phone number for legal entities
  • A ‘live’ e-mail address (all communications from MYNIC will be via e-mail) is necessary;

Fulfillment Info

FTLD .com.my is a Fulfillment TLD. Fullfilment TLDs (FTLDs) are registered through a manual registration process. The manual registration process might involve documents, depending on respective registry regulations, and are therefore not automated for real-time registrations and real-time updates. Updates might cause additional costs!
