API Commands
Section titled “API Commands”Please find in the following a set of the most commonly used standard API commands in order to register, modify, renew, and transfer a domain name.
Domain Registration

- NIC.CL gives 30 days from the first request, where a person or company can present an opposition for the same .cl. If there is more than one request for the domain name it is taken to arbitration to decide to whom it is assign.

- Authcodes can be updated in two ways and are valid for a period of 30 days
- Through a domain update(ModifyDomain)
- Through the registry login of the registrant at https://clientes.nic.cl/registrar/logon.do in the domain properties
Domain Restore

- For Chilean citizens, it is optional to provide the correct borough and corresponding number; a zip code is mandatory at all
